I purchase a stamp set from Maker Forte called Spotlight For Change and I have finally found time to use it! This stamp set seems so perfect for inspiration for the New Year. There are several interesting images and so many fabulous sentiments that it was actually hard to pick just one!

I love this color combination. It feels dramatic and clean and simple at the same time. This image makes me so happy and I love it done in gold heat embossing. A metallic element adds to the drama of the card.
Having the Crown Jewel Gems coordinate with that peek of red paper around the front of the card adds to the drama as well.

I added several crown jewel gems here because I loved the red sprinkled across the card. The hardest decision was what color to use for the sentiment. I tried gold on black and gold on red and I didn’t like either of those as well as a simple Eclipse Black ink on white cardstock.
I really couldn’t decide about the sentiment, so I selected two sentiments that work well together and kept them as separate sentiment strips that I popped up on foam.

This card took only 10 minutes to make. It would be perfect for mass producing quickly to send to friends and family.
The real gem is that stamp set. I found that it has 4 inspiring images and so many sentiments! It’s the perfect set to use if you want to create an uplifting card for a friend who needs a little support.
