Hello! It’s Kari here today with two Ghostly cards to share! I love these new stencils, and I especially love creating a “ghost-like” appearance on these Halloween cards.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube: (I think this might be one of my shortest videos ever!)

1) White Pigment Ink

For my first ghost card, I used the “Hey, Boo!” stencil with white pigment ink. I chose some of my favorite ghosts from the stencil, and inked them in a line on black cardstock. (so easy!) I used a white gel pen to add some highlights to each of the ghosts.

I added this strip of ghosts to a band of purple cardstock, and then adhered that over the Square Matrix slimline die. For good measure, I slid some purple glitter paper beneath the Square Matrix die.

That sentiment is from a Simple sayings paper pack.

I finished it all off with some clear sequins.

2) White Kaleidoscope Powder

For my second card, I used the “Hey Ghoulfriend” stencil over black cardstock. This time, I smooshed some clear sticky ink through the stencil, removed the stencil, and added Snow Flurries Kaleidoscope Powder with a dual-tipped brush.

I swept off the extra powder with my rainbow brush, and set it with an aerosol hairspray. (I use a cheap one I found in the dollar section).

I love the way this Kaleidoscope powder shimmers in the light! Pictures just don’t do it justice.

This time, I foiled the sentiment with some Lilypad (green) foil and added some Limewired gems.

I hope you enjoyed these projects today! I’ll be back with more cards soon,

Kari
