Hello friends! Katy here and today I am sharing how to get 4 cards from 1 slimline stamp. I am also using Color Hive Inks to do some easy watercoloring.
This technique is a great way to stretch those slimline stamps or even background stamps that have needed more love.
For todays project I am heat embossing the Everything Coming Up Roses Slimline Stamp and watercoloring with English Mustard, Red Leicester and Flamingo Color Hive Inks.
The panel measures roughly 3 1/2 inches by 8 1/2 inches. Once I completed the watercoloring I cut 1 1/2 inch wide strips by 4 inches long for an A2 card which gave me two cards this size. This left a couple strips a bit shorter than 4 inches long so I made those into two mini slimline cards.
The video below has all the details. If you have trouble watching here on the blog you can click here to watch on Youtube.
Here is each set of cards up close. I love how quick and easy these were to create and gave me another way to use my slimline and background stamps.
