Hello! It’s Kari here with a few ideas for using Alphabet Stamp sets. Today I’m using the Farmhouse Font stamp set, but these ideas can be applied to any alphabet set you have.
I have a video sharing all the ideas and demonstrating 2 of them, including How to Emboss on a Wood Sign! Watch it below or in HD on YouTube:
1. Spell It Out
The easiest way to use an alphabet stamp set is to spell out a word or a name. But have you ever replaced one of the letters with an image? It’s really fun to do and adds an element of whimsy to your card.

2. Monogram/Initial Card
This Farmhouse Font stamp set is so large that the letters make the perfect size for a Monogram or Initial Card. This is fun to do for your recipient and everyone loves a card made especially for them! Just pick the letter of their first name and create away. This also makes for great tags!
I specifically made this card for my Daughter-In-Law, who has a birthday in December. She always gets her birthday mixed in with Christmas (and that’s no fun)!! So I made this card to be a non-Christmas theme so she knows we are just celebrating HER this week.

Also try STACKING your letters for a fun look.

3. Alphabet Background
Try using your alphabets for a background on your card. You can use a light colored ink to give your background some interest! Then build your other card elements right on top. I stamped out the JOY word multiple times with green inks, then heat embossed the deer from THIS set right over the top. The holly are also from this set.

4. Home Decor & Signs
I love to make DIY signs, and this font is also perfect for that! I created a sign in the video…so go check it out to see how to do this!

I’m often asked about the products I’ve used, so I gathered them together and have listed them below. I may receive an affiliate commission when you purchase through these links. I hope you love these products, too!

I hope you have a wonderful holiday season!
