It’s Kaja from Kajcyika crafts and today I have prepared a 5 minute masculine thank you card. These days, I am super busy with renovating my apartment and as a thank you for the guys that are helping me, I made some quick cards.

Now lets take a look at the card that I created:

I knew that I am gonna make a simple card, that’s why I decided to go with a textured background that will make a card interesing for men. First, I took a piece of blue card stock and the Watercolor stripes background.

Then, I positioned the stencil over the base and applied the Marshmallow paste over it. If you haven’t tried the paste yet, I would really recomand you do! It’s really awesome and the magic happens when you heat set it when it pops up like a marshmallow!

The paste allows you to make a cool background with a lot of texture with very little effort and time. As I already said, the whole card was done in less then 5 minutes!

Next, I stamped out the tree scene from the Easy winter watercolor scenes stamp set. I wanted the image to be bold, so I used black ink on a piece of white paper. Once the image was stamped, I cut the paper down to the size of the stamped area, so it could be applied to the card easily.

The last missing piece was the sentiment. I used the ‘I am thankful for you’ that can be found in the Simple sayings paper which means that all I had to do was to cut down the sentiment strip and put it on the card.

Once I had all the elements prepared, I glued everything together using double sided foam tape for even more dimention.
