Hey! hope your day has started well! I’m so happy to be back with a new project. Soon it’s December and the Christmas cards need to be ready and sent out. It can feel stressful, but I have three cards today where I show how to quickly create a beautiful background.
Once you have created your background, you can easily put a sentence or sentiment on it. I used the Simple Sayings Bundle. Maker Forte has many different variations of these. They can also be foiled if you want!

I have created a video where I show how to create these cards. I also talk in the video about how to use Transfer Gel Duo.
In the video, I show that you do not need a laminator to use foil – t goes just as well with a die cutting machine. All you need to do is apply the paste through the stencil and then let it dry. It takes a few hours, and you can see that it is dry by changing color from white to transparent.
The stencil I used is called Christmas Naturally. I think it is absolutely wonderful for both autumn and Christmas projects.
I also made a bonus card, where I used the stencil and colored it traditionally. I used Distress Inks and a blending brush to do this. I chose neutral earth tones that I think are suitable for both autumn and the New Year.
I hope you enjoyed these projects and that you watch the video so you can see how you can quickly create a beautiful background. There, I give more tips and ideas on how you can use foil.
