Hello! It’s Kari here today with a little Reindeer JOY! I have created a card using the small images from What’s Up, Deer stamp set…with no fussy cutting and no masking. I also have a little trick for you on stretching your dies!

Watch the video below or on YouTube:

I love this little Reindeer set…such cute little images: some have Santa hats on, and some can be holding other small images from the set like a candy cane! They are fun to create with, and perfect for this card. I LOVED created this little scene.

For both of these cards, I first stamped the small images and colored them with Copic markers. You will see in the video that I did simple coloring on these, since they are such small images.

I cut the “YOU” die out of glitter paper in green and red. I did not use the shadow part of this die this time because I doctored up this die! I cut the “U” in half to create a “J” and then rearranged the letters to spell JOY! It’s a great trick for stretching those dies, especially if you don’t have a JOY die cut or large alpha set. 🙂

I also foiled up those backgrounds! You know I love my foiling. I used a green foil for the card with the red glitter Joy, and red foil for the card with the green glitter Joy.

You can see just how simple these cards were to put together! Depending on how much of that foil paper you want to show, you can cut that panel smaller or larger. See how different the looks are?

I have gathered the supplies together for you here, using affiliate links when possible. If you purchase using these links I may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you! These help me to continue to create fun projects like these to share. BIG Hugs and BIG thanks if you use these links!

I hope you enjoyed these cards today! 🙂 See you next time,

Kari
