Hi everyone, do you love to foil all the things? How about creating several backgrounds and sentiments to have on hand? Well, today, you’re in for a treat because I am sharing 3 cards that I foiled using Maker Forte’s toner sheets and sentiments! I will share tips on a successful foiling experience as well! Maker Forte released toner sheets, 8 1/2 x 11 in size, that are made for foiling! They also released 8 1/2 x 11 sentiment sheets in black on white and white on black! You already know how much I love shine on my cards, so needless to say, I had A LOT of fun foiling everything except my dog (that’s only because he wouldn’t let me)!
Using Toner Sheets

The card above was foiled using Gina K Design and Thermoweb’s Grass Green, the perfect color for a holiday card! Can you see that beautiful shine?
Next, I added a layer over the foiled card base using the Winter Swirls stencil and embossing paste mixed with Yellowstone Kaleidoscope Powder and Glitter in Holographic English Mustard. My oh my, did that combination work like magic!

It’s hard to see the glitter and shine in the photo, but believe me, it’s there! As I mentioned earlier, Maker Forte also released toner sheets filled with sentiments. So I grabbed a New Year’s sentiment that was white with a toner background and foiled it in rainbow colors. I figure this is the perfect New Year’s card, filled with light, hope, color, and rainbows!

For my 2nd card, I used the leftover paste from the previous concoction and pressed it down onto Starlight Metallic cardstock, which is shimmery and gorgeous! I love the subtle, undefined look when using leftover paste on a stencil! I also added splatters in red, green, and gold. Once my background was done, I started on my flowers.

I heat embossed the Poinsettia and colored it with my Copic markers. Then I fussy cut it and adhered it over an oval foiled frame. I finished with my sentiment. This card is breathtaking with those large flowers set against the subtle, shimmery background!
Foiling Toner Sentiments

My 3rd card may have been the most fun to create, and it certainly looks joyful! I foiled the background in a shimmery, starry pink by Gina K Designs and Thermoweb. Next, I added a mixture of embossing paste and Metallic Pluto Kaleidoscope powder and applied that over the Starry Night Slimline stencil. Then I foiled my sentiment in rainbow colors. Again I used the white sentiment with the black foiled background.

Can you see ALL THAT SHINE from this angle? This will be perfect for a friend who loves bright, bold colors! And the New Year’s celebrations!
The toner sheets and sentiments are wonderful because you can foil many backgrounds and sentiments in advance. When you’re ready to make your card, you already have a background and a sentiment! Just add interest by using stencils and glitter or Kaleidoscope powders! Maybe a flower or two!
