Hi there, friends! Jen here today sharing another set of quick and easy cards. I have used the Beautiful Skies paper pack and the Deer Dad stamp set.
I started out by choosing two pieces of the beautiful pattern paper from the Beautiful Skies paper pack. This was probably the hardest step of all, they are all so beautiful! Once that decision was made, I chose the stamp that was to be used for each pattern. After removing the foam pad from my stamping platform, I added the stamp over the paper. I made sure to position the stamp over the portion of the pattern paper that I liked the best for stamping. Next, I prepped the paper with an anti-static bag. I inked up the stamp with Versafine black ink and stamped onto the pattern paper several times. The stamped image was then covered with clear embossing powder and a heat tool used to heat set.
The pattern paper was then cut down to slightly smaller than 4 ¼ x 5 ½ and was then adhered to a 4 ¼ x 5 ½ piece of black cardstock.
This process was repeated for both cards.
Sentiments were added from a previously released Simple Sayings set.
To finish off the card, I added Eclipse Black Crown Jewels to both cards.
