Hi there! I hope that you are well and ready to join me today to make a quick Valentine’s Day card.

I will be using the white rubber slimline stamp, “Love is in the Air” for today’s card. This stamp set comes with a cloud stencil as well, which works perfectly with this stamp. I also used the new Simple Sayings “With all my Heart“.

I started by cutting a piece of Strathmore black mixed media paper cut to approximately 3 ¾ x 8. Next, I added a small bit of adhesive to the back of the paper and placed it into my stamping platform without the foam pad. Since this is a rubber stamp the extra width from the foam pad isn’t needed. I then wiped the paper with an anti static bag and inked up the stamp with Clear Embossing Ink. I stamped the paper several times, reapplying the embossing ink to the stamp each time. This was then covered with white embossing powder and melted using a heat gun.
The panel was then colored using Ranger Pearls Alcohol Inks in the colors Intrigue and Turqouise. I also used Marabu Alcohol Inks Metallic Pink and Metallic Gold. To move the color around the panel, I used a baby aspirator and 91% rubbing alcohol. The alcohol ink blending solution works as well.
Once the panel was dried, I splattered the Marabu Metallic Gold and Pink over the panel. I also used metallic watercolors to add splatter.
The card panel was then trimmed within 1/8 of the stamp border and adhered to a black piece of cardstock.
To complete the card a Simple Sayings sentiment from the “With all My Heart” collection was fussy cut and adhered with foam tape.

I hope you create something today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
