Hi there friends! Today I’m sharing a card with the cutest little snail you’ve ever seen! This set is called Bah Humbug and it was designed by Jess Francisco.

I started out by stamping my images using Versafine Black ink onto Bristol Smooth cardstock. I thought that I would use both the tree and snail image but for the final card decided to just use the snail. The snaill is the star of the card!

After stamping my images, I colored them using Koi Brushmarkers. When I use water-based markers to watercolor I like to create the shadow with the full strength of the marker. Then I use my waterbrush to blend out that color to create a light-to-dark variation of the color. Once colored, the images were fussy cut.

To create the background, I took Rah Rah Skirt ink and smooshed it into my craft mat. I then spritzed this with water. Next, I used a piece of leftover plastic packaging to dip into the ink and then smooshed that against the card panel. I repeated this over and over until I had the look that I wanted.

The panel was trimmed down by about ¼ of an inch and adhered to a 4 ¼ x 5 ½ white card base. I then added the Boho Arrows stencil with Rah Rah Skirt. The sentiment was stamped and cut with a banner die from my stash. I used a piece of blue washi top to give the snail a “road” and then adhered the image. Lots of snow was added by watering down white ink and splattering onto the card,

The card was finished off by adding a few enamel dots.

I hope you create something today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
