Hello! It’s Jill from Jill Cameron Creations. Today we are creating a very simple card but man does it pack a punch! We are making a BOLD card a stencil and Kaleidoscope Powder as the main focal point of the card. And even better, it’s a slimline card.

Below is the quick video with how easy this card is. I encourage you to try it out.

First, I trimmed down black cardstock to be just slightly larger than the stencil I used. Next, I centered the stencil on the black cardstock and used a little bit of washi tape to secure it.

Then, using a small blending brush I blended Color Hive Embossing Ink over the open areas of the stencil. Just like if I was ink blending color over the surface of the cardstock.

I carefully removed the stencil. And I mean carefully.

To complete this bold image, I lightly brushed the Kaleidoscope Powder over the entire surface of the cardstock. I used a small brush. I brushed away any excess powder. Also, I misted the panel with water. I mean a really light mist. This sets the powder so it doesn’t easily rub off. And your image is completed, so let’s finish off this card.

I used a sentiment from the Believe in Yourself stamp. I stamped it in black pigment ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I used foam tape to pop up the sentiment in the center of the card then mounted the entire panel on a landscape slimline card front.

I hope you enjoy this simple and super bold card and give it a try.
