Hello! It’s Kari here today sharing some of the latest Halloween Stencils that I completely fell in love with! Today I’m featuring four of my favorites: the Candy Corn Layering Stencil, the Hats & Bats stencil, the Carls”bat” Caverns Stencil, and Caught in My Web stencil.
I’m sharing them all with cards and techniques in my latest video below or watch in HD on YouTube:
Card 1: Candy Corn A Plenty
I think my favorite layering stencil from the new release is the candy corn layering stencil. It’s so CUTE and EASY…and that combo is a winner for me! In my video I share how to line them up perfectly (using this tool) and a simple card, finished off with a “Trick or Treat” sentiment from this paper pack.

For the white tips, I used a glitter gel to really make them pop off the white paper! And of course, I matted it on Eclipse Black paper. I really wanted those candy corns to SHINE!
I already have so many ideas for this as a background…what a cute Halloween card stencil, right?!
Card 2: Flying Bats Slimline
For my second card, I started out with kraft cardstock cut to slimline size….then I used a black glitter gel to add those bats! I waited for it to completely dry before adding the spiderweb stencil with some gray ink. I love the spooky look of this spiderweb in the background. To get this look, I added just parts of the web four times over the background.

Note: I avoided inking the spider on the stencil for this particular card, but that spider is something awesome, isn’t it?!
To finish of this card, I foiled the sentiment with Amethyst Watercolor foil and attached it with foam tape. Then I matted it on Eclipse Black cardstock and added some Coronation Purple gems. LOVE those gems!
Card 3: Bats & Hats
For my last card today, I used the Hats & Bats stencil with Black Glitz Glitter gel. I simply added a foiled sentiment and matted it on Hyde Park Cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you love these stencils for Halloween cards just like I do!
