I started by adding Versafine black ink to the cute little pig from the Grovehill Farm set. This image was stamped onto a piece of Hammermill paper. Next, the image was colored using Tombow markers and then fussy cut.
Next, I cut a piece of cardstock to 4 ¼ x 5 ½ and placed this into a stamping platform. To get the correct placement of the sentiment from the Many Happy Returns stamp set, I placed the pig image at the bottom right hand side of the cardstock. I then placed the words Happy Birthday on top of the pig image, closed the platform door to pick those images up and then removed the pig image. The words were then stamped with Versafine black ink.
These images are so perfect for balloon strings and so I did just that! Using two of the balloon images from the Many Happy Returns set, I stamped up the balloons using Color Hive Hyde Park and Purple Rain. I then added the coordinating highlight stamps to each of the balloons. I did this by using white pigment ink heat embossed with white embossing powder. The bonus is that it is so easy to match up the image from this set with its coordinating highlight because all of the highlights are labeled…genius!
A fun border from my stash was die cut using the cardstock with the stamped sentiments. To add more color to the card, a piece of pattern paper from the Alex Syberia Rosey Days pack was adhered to the left hand side of the card panel. The piece of cardstock with the border and stamped sentiments was adhered to the left hand side of the card.
To finish off this card, the pig was popped up using foam tape and a few fun sequins were added.
I hope you create something today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
