Hi there, it’s Kaja from Kajcyika crafts, and today I made a clean and simple holiday card. I don’t know about your country, but here in Slovenia, the mail is taking ages to arrive, so I decided to make a bunch of clean and simple cards to send them out as soon as possible.

Take a look at one of them:

I started making this card by stamping out the background. Since I knew that the card will be simple, I decided to use a green color, which is a traditional Christmas color. This time, I went for a watercolored look, so I used the Easy watercolors stamp and Distress Ink.

I spread the color around with water and then added some Neptune kaleidoscope powder to add that festive shine to a card.

Next, I stamped out a Christmas tree ball from the Alex Syberia Oh What Fun stamp set. I added some snowflake detail with black ink as well, so the ball isn’t as plain as it would be without them. Then, I used a red alcohol marker to color the image in. I made sure that I made enough contrast for the ball to look more dimensional.

Then, I added some white gel details. This must be one of my favorite parts of making the card. It’s just such a simple trick that does so much.

The last thing that I added was a sentiment that ready ‘Happiest of Holidays’ and can be found in the Bold Holiday Sentiments set. I went with a simple black ink to make sure that the card remains simple.

I glued everything together using liquid glue and my clean and simple holiday card was all finished!

Let me know in the comments below which is your favorite trick for clean and simple cards. Can’t wait to read them!
