Hey y’all! It’s Jill from Jill Cameron Creations. I’m so excited to be part of the Maker Forte Design Team because Alexandra has put together some super cute and awesome products. Today we’re going to be Copic Coloring the super cute Christmas Cookies stamp set.
There’s a video linked below and all of the products used to make this card are linked at the very bottom of the post.

Copic Coloring the Christmas Cookie Stamp Set
First, stamp the three letter cookies in a Copic friendly ink. I like Lawn Fawn’s Jet Black Ink. It’s nice and black, plus it doesn’t smear. If you want to stamp the images multiple times, I recommend using a MISTI. Also, I like to go back and stamp my images after I’ve colored them so the images have really nice dark lines, so I leave the stamps in the MISTI until I’ve finished the project.
Next, stamp the background. I kept the background super duper simple by keeping it black and white. This is an easy way to make sure the images that are colored, really pop off the page.

I colored the images using browns, reds, and greens. I wanted to make sure the cookies looked like they were iced with that really smooth pretty icing. I make the edges really dark and then got lighter in the center of each area.
After I colored all three images, I pop-up them up using foam tape. Then, I added shimmer pen to each of the white areas and the green dots on the center cookie image.
To really make the cookies looked iced, I added a pretty thick coat of Glossy Accents.

Finally, I added jute twine around the card with a bow. I added foam tape to the back of the panel and glued it to a top folding note card. That’s it for this card.
