Hi there! It’s Jen! Thank you for joining me today on the Maker Forte Blog! Today I’m creating a fun card using the Street Art and Calming Cosmos stamp sets.

Step 1
Cut a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock or similar to 4 ¼ x 5 ½. Prep the paper by applying an anti-static bag.
Step 2
Leave the stamp on the hard plastic that it is shipped on (stamp side face up). Ink up half of the street art stamp with Color Hive clear ink and the other half with Versafine black ink.
Step 3
Press the cardstock into the inked stamp, making sure to get half of each of the inks onto the cardstock. Apply pressure to the paper (without moving it) to get a good impression of the stamp.
Step 4
Cover the clear ink with white embossing powder and cover the black ink with clear embossing powder. Use a heat tool to melt/set the embossing powder.
Step 5
Spray the black half of the card panel with Salvaged Patina Distress spray. Spray the white half of the card panel with Ground Expresso Distress spray. Dry with heat tool and blot off any excess with a papertowel. Once completely dry, wipe a cloth or papertowel over the embossed image to remove any excess spray.
Step 6
Trim the card panel to slightly smaller than 4 ¼ x 5 ½.
Step 7
Color the flower in the Calming Cosmos stamp set and fussy cut. Stamp up a sentiment from this set.
Step 8
Adhere the sentiment strip to the bottom of the card making sure to leave an area to slip the flower image into. Adhere the flower images to the card. Add dimension by popping up the flower petals with foam.
Step 9
Splatter with white ink.

I hope you create something today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
