Hello! It’s Kari here today with a classic combination: Cotton Candy and Coffee! What? That’s NOT a classic combination?! Well, hopefully you will still enjoy these cards with some of the brand new stamp sets released at Maker Forte this month.
Cotton Candy Card
My first card features “Candy Floss Dreams” and it has the cutest Cotton Candy cart. And if you call it “Fairy Floss” or “Candy Floss” there’s a stamp that says that too!

Then, I stamped the large cotton candy image with Versafine Ink and use some pink embossing powder over the top. I heat set that and then added some pink marker dots, and a grey shadow to each one.

Now doesn’t that look delicious!
Coffee Cards
For the coffee cards, I used the new Coffee sets to create TWO cards.

These sets have SO many awesome sentiments and images. There are even a ton of “foam” stamps to add. Here I stamped the “coffee” round image three times. I waited for that to completely dry, then I added some Versafine images and white heat embossed over the top to create the foam! These are SO FUN to create.
I used the sentiment “you bean so much to me” for this one. I stamped some of the coffee rings (you know, what’s left behind on the table when you pick up the coffee cup?) around the edge and added some of the new ink all around. A red heart finished off this slimline card.

For my last card, I used the coffee cup itself and colored it one of my favorite colors: Yellow! I added some foam white heat embossing and stamped the hearts in various greens and blues.
The background is stamped with some of the bubble/bean images onto kraft cardstock. I also think the coffee bean STENCIL would be awesome for this!

These are super fun to build with all the coffee choices, and if you like the Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop coming up…you will definitely want these sets!

I hope you enjoyed these projects today. And even if we would never have Cotton Candy and Coffee together at the same time, I do hope you love these cards at the same time! See you next time with more card inspiration.
