Good morning, Sharon here with a card for super heroes. I have used You’re Beary Super Stamp Set for this card.

Aren’t these critters the cutest? There are are 13 characters in the set so plenty to chose from.

I stamped the 3 flying guys with Eclipse Black Ink. They stamp beautifully I used my Smoosher to make sure I got even ink coverage.

Using Alcohol markers and I colored the characters in bright colors because of course all heroes wear brights! The unicorn has even got a rainbow tail and mane.

Aren’t they adorable? I fussy cut these leaving a small white border around them so they would pop off the paper I was using. I wanted to use the Comic Frames Papers but chose to use them in a different way. They are covered in cool words and flash images so I fussy cut some of these from the paper.

Now I was ready to build my card. I chose to use Redwoods Cardstock for my top layer. First cutting this to 4.25×5.5ins and then a circle cut from it to form a frame. Cutting a mat from Stormy Speciality Cardstock I added it to a Top Folding A2 Card Base.

The flying characters we adhered in place with wet glue, checking place to make sure they were going to be visible behind the frame.

My Redwood layer had foam tape added – lots of foam tape. It is easy to squash the card or for the front to sag if there isn’t enough.

I do add wet glue to the tape to give me wiggle room for making sure my layer is straight. Despite having the cut out words, the card needed another sentiment. Simple Celebrations Simple Sayings has “Have an awesome birthday” so I chose to use this in white. I die cut these with the Simply Stated Dies. This cuts all of them at once. It is then easy to choose which you want to use.

These sentiments foiled really easy, I chose some Brutus Monroe Rainglow rainbow foil, placed it over my saying and ran it through a hot laminator. The colors coordinated with my characters.

The rounded corners of this didn’t fit well with the rest of the words I had fussy cut so I cut them at an angle. I did have a happy accident here and a drop of glue landed on my card front. The words are at angles my sentiment fits in well at an angle to cover the glue.

As I had added the words cut from the paper I also added some stars from the same paper. This card would be great for a child who is a super hero fan.

Thank you for taking time to read my post and I hope you have super hero inspiration!
