Hi everyone,

Do you play with your patterned paper on your cards? One of my favorite ways to create a beautiful background on my cards is with patterned paper! Today I’m going to show you how to select a winning combination of colors to create beautiful backgrounds for your cards!

The 1st step is to grab a favorite set of coordinated designer paper. I’m working with Maker Forte’s Mixed Media Paper Pack designed by Alex Syberia. It’s a gorgeous line of designer paper with coordinated colors and mixed media shapes that play nicely together.

The 2nd step is to choose 3 patterns that work well together. I have a video below with tips on how to choose a great combination for your card!

The 4th step is to put it all together! I have created 3 cards using the Maker Forte patterned paper in various ways.
