I have really become hooked on creating Traveler’s Notebook layouts to document my days. I have never loved keeping a written journal but keeping an art journal makes so happy!
I’ve been filling these little mini books for the last 3 years with details of my days using art rather than writing about it. I am enjoying this new hobby immensely!

Of course, now I find myself shopping for stickers and ephemera that I can use to decorate the pages of my notebooks. I have also found an entirely new use for my stamps, dies, and inks!
I create my own journaling cards, ephemera and die cuts as often as I can. That washi tape in my stash is finally being used up!
I also find myself using all different sizes of leftover cardstock to create journaling cards and listing cards as well. You can see that I’ve used some old washi tape to decorate the top of some scraps to create pocket cards of various sizes that will fit on my notebook pages.

The Holiday Borders stamp set was so perfect for this purpose! I’ve stamped some of the borders to decorate the cards. I’ve even used some of the sentiment borders on scrap strips to create page borders and header pieces.
And notice how I’ve added marks with my white gel pen! Faux stitching, straight lines, dots of different sizes, and swirls and loops all make excellent decorations! You are only limited by your imagination!
You will find a page layout that I used some of these bits to document one of my mornings on my blog at Stamping Imperfection!
