Happy Sunday, crafty friends! It’s Jen here today sharing a sweet Easter card.
I used the Cottontailed stencil and a bit of the Easter Background stencil for this quick & easy card.
I started by cutting a piece of cardstock to 4 ¼ x 5 ½. I then placed the Makers Mat onto my work surface. Using the template on the Makers Mat, the cardstock was positioned in place and taped. The Cottontailed stencil was then placed over the cardstock, lining up with the hole template on the Makers Mat.
Each of the bunnies was colored with Color Hive inks; Sugar Plum, Vegas Strip and Rah-Rah Skirt. The stencil was then picked up and placed slightly off center. This gives a small highlight on the right side of the bunnies. The same inks were used to add the highlight. The bunny tails were added using the heart from the Easter Background stencil.
The grass border was created by taping off the bottom portion of the card and then blending Color Hive Flat White and Limewired. The grass was created by flicking Copic markers.
To complete the card, a fancy border strip was added along with a sentiment from the Simple Sayings Spring Celebrations set and a twine bow.
