Hello crafters! Joy here with you today sharing a beautiful yet easy to create card that will send out an encouraging message. Do you ever see these perfectly blended cards and wonder how the crisp borders were kept with out any smudges? Me too! Maker Forte has taken all of the guess work out of it with the Cirlce Spotlight Stencil because it comes with both the positive and negative parts allowing for many techniques. Today, I am only showing how to use the stencil, leaving the mask aside. Let’s take a look..

I chose to use the Easter Blessings stamp set for the spotlight for today’s card, but didn’t use it as a traditional Easter theme, instead as a message of encouragement. To create the backdrop, I blended Color Hive inks in the colors Coral Keys, Bubble Gum, and Yellowstone through the Circle Spotlight Stencil placing the circle toward the top of the panel. Then I stamped the Easter Blessings image with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder after treating it with an anti static powder tool. I repeated the same process with the sentiment featuring Johua 1:9. I just love this verse and think it would bring peace to so many,

To finish off my card I trimmed down the focal panel to measure 4 x 5.25 inches and matted it with a slightly larger Eclipse Black panel. Using foam tape I popped up the entire panel before adhering it to a Perfect Score A2 Top Folding Cardbase. Of course I had add just a little more shine with a few sequins from my stash.

Isn’t this a gorgeous card, but so easy to make. I really hope you will give it a try!

Below you will find a process video in case you want to see all of the details! Happy Crafting!!!
