Card 1

The first card uses a piece of Bristol cardstock cut slightly bigger than the stamp and stencil. I started by taping the stencil to the cardstock using low-tack tape. I used a combination of Distress Oxide and Distress inks. Twisted Citron Distress Oxide was then applied with a blending brush . Distress Ink in Seedless Preserves was applied to the bottom half of the card panel. The ink blending was finished by adding Distress Ink in Black Soot to the top inch of the panel, blending it with the Twisted Citron. Next, a spritz of water was added and mopped up with a paper towel.

The blended panel was then placed into a stamping platform. A stamping platform comes in super handy when using a large stamp like this! The stamp was lined up with the stencil and Versafine Sepia ink was applied. As this is such a large stamp, the ink pad was applied by using a twisting motion back and forth to help prevent ink pad lines showing up on the stamp and therefore the paper.

Black Stickles and a sentiment from from Tim Holtz Small Talk Occasions was adhered.

Card 2

The second card uses a piece of Bristol cardstock cut down to 4 ¼ x 5 ½. The stencil was positioned horizontally on the cardstock so that some of the zombies and haunted house were visible. Since this card size is smaller than the stencil, the moon and some of the zombies were not included.

Next, Distress Oxide in Twisted Citron and Black Soot were applied through the stencil. This image was then stamped in Color Hive Fog several times. Before the ink could dry, Asteroid Kaleidoscope powder was applied to the ink using the dual tip powder brush. Excess powder was removed using the Rainbow Clean Up Brush and then the powder was then set by applying hairspray.

The top portion of the panel was then trimmed off. Pattern paper was then adhered to the top and bottom of another 4 ¼ x 5 ½ piece of cardstock. Foam was added to the back of the stamped panel and this was adhered over the pattern paper.

Sentiment stickers from Tim Holtz Small Talk Occasions were adhered to the panel. To add “lights” yellow alcohol marker was added to the windows of the haunted house. As a final touch, purple enamel dots were then adhered.

Card 3

The last card is another slimline using only the stamp. Versafine Clair Nocturne was used to stamp the image onto a piece of Bristol cardstock. Frosted Crystal embossing powder was then applied and a heat tool used to melt the powder.

The panel was then spritzed with Dusty Concord and Twisted Citron Distress Sprays. The sentiment, Sending Spooky Vibes sentiment from the Jess Francisco All Season Sentiments 2 was cut out and adhered along with green enamel dots.

I hope you create something today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
