I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday! Today I’m sharing an easy mixed media card using the beautiful Eileen Hull stamp set called Wonderful World of Flowers.

I started with a piece of 4 ¼ x 5 ½ Bristol Smooth cardstock. I applied paper paste through the Sketched Mosaic stencil onto the cardstock. Without waiting for the paste to dry, I carefully used an anti static bag and then stamped the leaf image several times using Color Hive Clear ink. I then sprinkled the stamped images and some of the wet paper paste with Nuvo embossing powder in Enchanted Gold. Next I turned on my heat gun and let it warm up for about 15 seconds. I then started applying heat to the back of the cardstock. This was done to ensure that the glitter pieces in the embossing powder did not fly away which would have happened if I had applied the heat to the front of the cardstock image. This not only set the embossing powder but also dried the paper paste.
Next I spritzed the card panel with both Prize Ribbon and Seedless Preserves Distress Ink Spray Stain. I then spritzed with water to move the colors around. The panel was then dried with my heat gun.
To add a focal point, I chose two of the pretty flower images from the Wonderful World of Flowers stamp set. One image was stamped with clear embossing ink and sprinkled with Nuvo Enchanted Gold embossing powder and heat set. The other image was stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne and sprinkled with clear embossing powder and heat set. Foam tape was then added to the back of the black image and added to the top of the gold image. These images were then adhered to the card panel.
To finish the card a sentiment from the All Seasons Sentiments was matted on black cardstock, several Crown Jewels in Rhubarb Ripple were added and the panel splattered with watered down white ink.

Wishing you and yours a very happy and safe New Years! Looking forward to seeing you in 2022!
I hope you create something today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
