Hi there! Happy Easter weekend! Jen here today sharing a colorful card using the beautiful Layering Gingko Stamp set.

I started the card with a piece of white cardstock placed into my Misti stamping platform. I then positioned the solid gingko stamp in the Misti. Next, I stamped Color Hive inks in Hyde Park, Flamingo and Blueberry Cheesecake by slightly overlapping the colors on the stamp. This was done twice.
I then applied an anti-static bag to the inked card panel. Next, I lined up the detailed gingko stamp over the solid stamped image. This stamp was inked up in Color Hive Clear embossing ink, stamped and then covered in Maker Forte Eclipse Black embossing powder and heat set. After allowing the embossing powder to cool, the images were then fussy cut.
Next, a clean piece of white cardstock was placed into the Misti. The detailed gingko stamp was placed over half of the cardstock and stamped with Versafine Black ink. The stamp was repositioned over the remaining half of the cardstock and this step repeated. The entire image was then covered with clear embossing powder and heat set.
The fussy cut images were then arranged over the black stamped card panel and adhered with Clear Makers Magic. Two sentiments from the Simple Sayings set, Transitions, were popped up with foam and adhered. (Unfortunately, this Simple Sayings set is no longer available. However, there are lots of others to choose from here!)
The card was topped off by splattering some black ink and adding several clear sequins.

I hope that you enjoyed this tutorial and that it inspires you to create something today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
