Hello friends! Katy here with another quick and easy card design, this time using Color Hive Inks to create a watercolor background. This technique is similar to doing an emboss resist, the only thing different here is that we saved our stamping for last and there is no embossing.

Once I added my ink to my watercolor paper which measures 5 x 7, I spritz with the shimmer spray made from clean clear water in a spray bottle and Kaleidoscope Powder in Astroid. This is the most beautiful gold shimmer on these panels I have ever seen, even better than gold Perfect Pearls. Once the panel dried, I cut it in half to measure 3 1/2 x 5 and then completed my stamping.

The Ink colors I used are Yellowstone, English Mustard, Telephone Box and Eclipse Black. The stamp sets I used are Maker Forte and Varada Sharma Collab Flower Clusters Stamp Set, Maker Forte and Alex Syberia Hello Spring Layering Stamp Set and finally Maker Forte and Alex Syberia I Adore You Stamp Set.

I have a video for you that shows how quick these cards worked up, the longest wait is the dry time. I do recommend air drying. I find I get better results that way, but that is a personal preference. You do what makes sense for you.
