Hello makers!!! Kimberly here today. I am so excited to share a few things that I love about these cards! First, I love that I could make two cards from one Fabulous Flora background stamp. Second, I love how the Solar Flare kaleidoscope powder looks mixed with white embossing powder. Finally, I love how easy it is to make easy sentiments with the sentiments from this stamp set and the Simply Stated Die.

To use the Solar Flare kaleidoscope powder with embossing powder, I mixed a small scoop of the kaleidoscope power in a container with a few bigger scoops of white embossing powder. It is important to have enough embossing powder otherwise it will rub right off after you heat it. I tested my mixture using a small stamp on scrap paper until I was happy with how the kaleidoscope powder showed up.

Next, I cut a piece of Ultra White cardstock to 6 1/2″x 6 1/2″ and stamped it with the Fabulous Flora background stamp and Clear Color Hive Embossing ink. I added the embossing powder and kaleidoscope mix.

After I heat set it, I wiped away excess kaleidoscope powder with a cloth. Then, I cut the panel in half to two pieces that measured 3″ x 6″.

Next, I adhered each of the panels to a piece of Eclipse Black cardstock measuring 3 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ then to card bases. I just love how easy it is to stamp out the sentiments in the Fabulous Floral set and die cut them using the Simply Stated Die for easy sentiments to add to my cards!

To finish the card, I added Solar Flare Crown Jewel Gems. I love how this turned out. Isn’t that color beautiful?

Thank you so much for stopping by!
