Hello, it’s Kari here today with Fall card ideas using Kaleidoscope Powders! I’m sharing two ways to use the Kaleidoscope powders, and they are simple and add a shimmery, color-changing element to your cards.

Today I’m only using the Aurora color Kaleidoscope powder. I love this for fall, it has a color change of pink to orange to peach and it’s BEAUTIFUL!

Card One
For this first card, I stamped the word background stamp with clear ink onto a white card panel. Then I brushed on the Aurora powder. I share tricks and best practices for this powder in my video (watch it below or in HD on YouTube🙂
I then stamped the “Happy Fall Y’all” sentiment in black ink underneath the fall background. For the leaves, I die cut a few solid leaves and inked them up with red and green ink. Then I die cut some detailed leaves and added glitter to them for some variation.
To add the leaves to the card panel, I used liquid adhesive to glue down the solid leaves. Then I glued just the lower portion of the detail leaves on top.
Card Two

For the glitter leaves, I used three colors of glitter from Maker Forte. My favorite way to add glitter to small detail pieces like this is to add double-sided adhesive to cardstock, then die cut the image. I remove the backer sheet, so the adhesive is revealed and pour on the glitter. I burnished the glitter with my finger.

For this background, I swiped on the clear ink directly onto the cardstock and brushed on the Aurora Kaleidoscope powder to the panel. I then stamped the background stamp over the powder using Maker Forte’s clear ink. The ink on the stamp removes the powder! It’s a neat look and will have your recipient wondering how you did that!

I hope you will take a look at the video above so you can see the amazing color-changing properties of the powder on these cards!
