Happy New Year! It’s Jill from Jill Cameron Creations and I’m sharing a simple way to add HUGE shine to any card. I’m making a Valentine but use this technique with any of the Maker Forte Black and White line of patterned papers.

First, I colored the images from the Hipster Valentine stamp set using pinks and blues. I used Copics and really basic shading and dots to create texture.
Next, I selected the heart paper from the Slimline Black and White Patterned Paper pack. This paper is amazing! You can foil it! Just place your foil over the paper and run it through a laminator. The foil will stick to the black areas of the paper.
For this card I used a translucent foil with pearl shine to it. The stark contrast of the black paper with the bright pops of pink and blue make this a unique Valentine.
The best part of this paper is you can foil it with solid color foil and that’s what color the pattern will be. There are so many patterns to choose from. Create a card as unique as the person that will receive your work of art.
