Hi there,
It’s Kaja from Kajcyika crafts and today I will be sharing a simple card featuring geometric two-color stenciling!
Take a look:

I fell in love with this new Maker Forte stencil that is called Stepped Cubes Add On – 3D Cubes – 2 piece Layered Square. The best thing about it is that you can use it with different colors of ink and the effect you get is super cool and take no time. I started making this background by masking the edges of a white card base, so the stenciling will only be visible in the center.
Next, I used the first stencil from Stepped Cubes Add On – 3D Cubes – 2 piece Layered Square set and used purple ink with it. Once I had everything covered, I switched the stencils and used pink for the second one.

This gives a really nice and bold background to any card. Next, I stamped out the flower and two leaves from Sketched Peony stamp set. I colored it in using alcohol marker and I made sure that I used the colors that corespond nicely with the stenciled background.
Next, I took the Easy watercolor stamp set and stamped ‘Happy birthday’ sentiment in black ink. I positioned it towards the bottom of the stenciled area which fills up the card.

The only thing left to do was to glue everything together for which I used some liquid glue and double sided foam tape.
This finished of the card! Let me know in the comments if you enjoyed this geometric two-color stenciling and what is your favorite Maker Forte stencil at the moment.
Hugs,
Kaja
