Hello! It’s Kari here today with some awesome goodies from the new release. This April release is called “Everything’s Coming Up Roses,” but there are also some amazing Gingko stamps and stencils!

Card 1: Gingko Background

This new Gingko Background stamp set actually has TWO designs you can choose from made with White Rubber, so you get a great impression. For this card, I inked on one of the Gingko backgrounds with Welsh Dragon ink and spritzed it with water. Then I pressed it onto Watercolor cardstock.

I used the water brush to spread a little more of the color near the bottom of each of the leaves.

I used Welsh Dragon Cardstock to mat the panel, added some of the new Lady Liberty gems and a foiled ephemera sentiment from THIS set to finish off this card.

Card 2: Gingko Wreath

This next card features the new Floating Gingkos stamp set. There are plenty of Gingko images in this set, and I chose to use the wreath image for this card.

I inked it on in various shaded of green ink, making it darker near the center of the leaves. Then I used this new stencil over the panel and sprayed on some Palm Tree re-inker that I diluted with water. It makes such a soft, pretty background!

I heat embossed the “gratitude” sentiment that also comes in the stamp set using the new Solar Flare embossing powder. Boy, do I love this embossing powder!! (It’s gold and sparkly…what’s not to like?!)

I also created a matching gold mat to frame the panel. To do this, I simply smooshed some clear embossing ink onto the edges of a piece of cardstock. Then I sprinkled on some of the new gold embossing powder and heat set. Voila! A mat that matches your sentiment!

Card 3: Layering Gingko

For my last card, I used the new Layering Gingko set. This set is so awesome because you get the bottom, solid layer of the leaves, and a more detailed top layer to match!

For this card, I stamped the bottom layer in Welsh Dragon, Palm Tree, and Limewired. Then I added the top layer with embossing ink and added the Solar Flare embossing powder! I love how it turned out and I hope you do, too.
