Hi there,
It’s Kaja from Kajcyika crafts and today I am here on the Maker Forte blog with another Christmas card! This one has a lot of glitter on it, but it still has that clean and simple look that I love so much!
Take a look:

I started making this card by choosing the embossing powder to use. I knew that I wanted to have a lot of sparkle on the card, so I decided to go with Nuvo Gold Enchantment powder.
First, I stamped out the ‘Jingle all the way’ from Wrapped Christmas sentiments four times across the middle of a white card stock piece. As said, I used gold embossing powder along with the Maker Forte Clear ink for these stamped images. The ink pad is so juicy that you always get a very nice and crisp stamped image the first time around. I really recommend using it!

Next, I stamped out the three star-shaped cookies from the Christmas cookies stamp set and embossed it with the same gold powder. Then, I colored the cookies in using alcohol markers which gave them a nice and yummy look.
I still felt like there was a bit too much of whiteness on my card, so I took the Clear ink once again and this time, I spread it across all four edges of the white paper piece. I embossed it, using some more Gold powder and this connected the sentiment with the rest of the card beautifully.

The last thing I added was some gorgeous Mercury metallic paper to the back of my card. The card stock has just enough glitter to is that it connects to the rest of the card perfectly!
When I had all the elements ready, I glued everything together using double-sided tape and some foam tape.
Thank you so much for joining me! Please let me know in the comments below which is your favorite technique for adding glitter to the card! Would love to know all the details!
