Hello! It’s Jill from Jill Cameron Creations. We are using the Spring Gnomes stamp set currently available for pre-order in the Maker Forte shop. This is a super adorable set! I just had to create a little scene for my little Gnome man and his little chicken.

Watch this quick video to see how this card came together. All of the products used to create this card are linked at the bottom of this post.

Gnome in Spring

I am so ready for warmer weather and this Gnome was perfect to express that. For this card, I pulled out several dies from my stash to create this cute scene for my gnome dude.

First, I stamped the image using Eclipse Black ink. It dries super duper fast and doesn’t bleed! I love it!

I picked softer colors than I normally use because I wanted the feel of early spring and kind of Easter too. (All of the colors are listed at the bottom.) I colored the image and then die cut it with an oval die.

Next, I die cut grass, a rainbow, and a cloud from white cardstock. Then, using the same colors I colored each of the elements. I like to color white cardstock instead of cutting elements out of colored cardstock. It saves paper.

Then, I glued the rainbow pieces to the side of the Clear Skies blue cardstock panel. I let about half of the rainbow hang over the edge and used a pair of scissors to cut off the extra. I used foam tape to pop up the oval and centered in the panel. The cloud and the grass are both glued to the oval.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment in pigment ink and clear heat embossed it. I trimmed it out with a fishtail die. I used two small pieces of foam tape on the ends and overlapped the bottom of the oval when placing it on the card front.

That’s it. I hope you enjoyed this cute gnome card and pre-order your stamp set today!
