Hello my friends. My great niece is celebrating a birthday soon and she is all about princesses and unicorns. She is going to absolutely love this card that I made for her.

For today’s card, I’m using the brand new Happy Birthday, Princess set. I placed a scrap piece of white cardstock in my Misti stamping tool and stamped the princess using Eclipse Black reMARKable ink. This has become my go to ink any time I’m planning on coloring with Copic Markers. It doesn’t bleed or smudge.

Since Cinderella is one of my favorite Princesses, I had to color this image a “royal” blue. I colored the dress first with B21 and then blend in B24 and B23

For the skin, I started with E50. Added some shadow with E23, then blended that in with E11 and E51.

Hair has always been a little bit of a challenge for me. So I try to keep it simple. I used E31, E33, and E37. These colors blend nicely to make a beautiful light brown.

The crown was colored using Y00, Y11, Y15, and Y28. To finish off the dress, I added a little shadow of gray on the white using C00, C01, and C03.

Next, I taped a piece of white cardstock to the back of the Hexagon Burst stencil. Using my blending brushes, I added Spun Sugar, Scattered Straw, and Dried Marigold. Blending between each color for a smooth transition. The reveal is always my favorite part. It looks amazing. I cut it down to about 2 inches and mounted it on a piece of pink cardstock and then glued it down to an A2 Top Fold card base.

I stamped the sentiment using Vegas Strip ink. I was happy to see that it was almost the exact same color as her dress.

Finished off the card by adding foam dimensional tape to the princess. I centering her over the ink blended strip and using my Rainbow Picker and Poker, I added a few Acid Wash Crown Jewels Gems. Because…well, every princess needs jewels right!

Thanks you for stopping by.

Until next time – Jackie ❤
