Hey friends! It’s Marj from MarjBanzalesDesigns again. Today, I have a very easy project to share with you. You can make as many as you like and all you have to do is just change the color of each project and in an instant, you can have a bunch of cards. But for today, I only made one but will definitely make more.
We always tend to have different cards for every occasion and we always make sure to send those cards to family and friends. Either it’s a birthday, anniversary, get well soon, sympathy, or even just to say hello, Happy Mother’s Day card or Happy Father’s Day card.
Today’s card is all about Fathers as it is a very easy Happy Father’s Day Card. The Fishing on Father’s Day Stencil is such a fun way to make this particular card but you can always add a twist of your own to make it stunning.
For my card today, I decided to make it a little more different. I would normally use the stencil on its own and just added some color like the Distress Oxides. I used Seedless Preserves, Evergreen Bough, and Broken China for some manly color. Is there such thing as manly color? lol! I should say, any color you would like to use for a project for a guy.
Here’s a photo of my finished project and I hope you like it.

With this photo, you really cannot see the shine of the Kaleidoscope Powder – Interference Neptune but I assure you that I sprayed it all over to achieve some shine to my project. Honestly, at first, I was really hesitant to add it to the spray bottle as I am not sure how it works but it works really well like the Perfect Pearls. Just add a little bit to the water and it will last for a long time.
Here are the materials I used to make this project:
- Fishing on Father’s Day Stencil
- Solid Core Scottish Thistle Cardstock
- Seedless Preserve Distress Oxide
- Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide
- Broken China Distress Oxide
- Maker Forte To the Point Teflon Bone Folder
- Kaleidoscope Powder – Interference Neptune
- A2 Top Fold Card Base
- Arteza Fineliner
Below you will find a video on how I made this card! Thank you for watching!
