Simple Hi to a friend is what we need nowadays. It is just to let your friend knows that you are there for them even you are faraway from each other. So don’t forget to say hi to any of your friend.

Hi friends, Marj here from MarjBanzalesDesigns. Are you a fan of making a quick and easy peasy card? I hope you are because you are in the right place. Today’s card is one of the easiest cards I made. I used a few strips of cardstock to design an image. Let’s put it this way, this is a minimal supplies kind of card to make. Isn’t that wonderful?

Hi friend

Without further ado, let’s get to it…

First, I stamped the butterfly image to a 110lb white cardstock using the Color Hive Black Eclipse Ink. I used the image from the Build a Butterfly stamp set. This stamp set comes with several butterflies that you can use for any projects that you can think of and of course any occasion. Next, I colored the image with my all-time favorite alcohol markers. The Arteza Ever Blend Ultra Art Markers are so easy to use and blendable too.

I fussy cut the image leaving a small white border around it and added a few strips of double-sided adhesive at the center of the image in the back. Then, I cut a piece of 4 x 5.25 inches cardstock as my panel and set it aside. Cut strips from the leftover pieces of cardstock from Scottish Thistle, Redwoods, Matcha, and Stormy Metallic Slate. I cut them into a quarter of an inch and then added them to the front of the card panel using some strong glue.

Once the glue is set, stamped the word friend directly to the card then die cut Talk Wordy To Me – Hi from Stormy Metallic Slate Cardstock. For some texture, I added Kaleidoscope Powder Neptune to the butterfly and the die-cut. To finish it off, I embellished it with some Tartan Teal Crown Jewels.

I hope you learn a thing or two about my project today. To get all the supplies I used, please visit Maker Forte.

Thank you for stopping by and I’ll see you again next time.
