Hello my fellow makers, Joy here with you. Today I am sharing a slimline card using the new Holiday Seals on a slimline card. I think a lot of us would look at this stamp set and think it would be perfect for decorating holiday tags or envelopes, but I wanted to show you how to use it on a card. I hope you like it.

I usually like to use odd numbers of elements when creating a card panel, but I think these Holiday Seals are clean and simple to make them pleasing to the eye in this linear fashion. Even though I consider this a clean and simple design I wanted to add a fun detail in the background by using a monochromatic die cut panel with Around The Curve.

This background was cut from Mercury cardstock which is a pearlescent/ metallic burgundy color. This would be a fun card if you wanted to do one layer in white and one in burgundy to create a candy cane effect. Just keep your options open when you are creating. I then adhered that to a slimline card base from Eclipse Black Cardstock.

Next I stamped four Holiday Seals with Eclipse Black Ink onto smooth cardstock and used simple blends of Copics. I then die cut them with a circle die and matted them onto another black circle. I love a little shimmer and shine on my cards, so I couldn’t resist adding Redwoods Sugar Sparkles Glitter to the images and scattered a few Aura Crown Jewels on the front panel.

I hope that you love these Holiday Seals and can’t wait to see how you would use them.
