Hello makers! It’s Joy with you today and I’m going to show you how to create a Northern Lights Sky with Color Hive Inks and the Stargazer stamp set. I think you’re really going to enjoy this technique and have fun creating your winter projects with it.

I started off my project by stamping the fox from Dream World onto smooth cardstock with Eclipse Black Ink and colored it with Copic markers. I then fussy cut it out before working on the next part of the card. I decided that I wanted my Northern Lights Sky to be approximately 2/3 of the background and then blend down into a snow foreground. I applied Color Hive Inks in the Colors Fresh Prince, Muscle Car, and Vegas Strip onto the Stargazer stamp. I made sure to use a foam applicator to soften the lines to prevent any harsh demarcations. To soften the horizon line I blended Snow flurries over it before adding the snow banks.
