How is it possible that we are already in November? Have you started working on your Christmas and Holiday cards? I know I need to get busy. So many cards to make so little time.

I absolutely love this set Mug Full of Fun. There are 4 different mug toppers that you can add. Making this set so versatile. I chose to use the adorable gingerbread man. I love how he’s kicked back enjoying the hot cocoa spa.

Using my Misti, I first stamped the cup in Eclipse Black ink. To make sure that I positioned the gingerbread man in the correct spot, I first stamped on a piece of acetate. When it was right, I stamped on my cardstock.

I had already picked out my pattern paper, so I tried to keep with the same colors. I colored the cup with Copic marker in light reds.R00, R20, R14, and R22

Using E35, E97, and E99, I colored the gingerbread man. The rest of the Copics that I used to finish the image are in the picture below

I fussy cut out the image and set it aside. On a piece of water color paper, I ink smooshed with Neon Lights ink. It was the perfect match for the blue in the pattern paper. Once it was dry, I was ready to assemble the card.

At some point during the assembly, I got a smudge of ink on the pattern paper. Instead of starting over, I used the snowflakes to hide it. I think it definitely added to the card. I stamped the sentiment on a matching blue piece of paper, added a bow with bakers twine and glued it the card.

Thank you for following along.

Until next time – Jackie ❤
