Hello hello friends. As you can all probably tell, I love making cards that come together quickly. When I have time, I make extra backgrounds, stamped images, and die cuts. That way when I’m in a rush, it’s easy to put my card together.

For this card, I pulled an ink blended panel that I made a while ago. I used Distress Oxide Inks in Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry. These inks go on like butter and so so easy to blend. I added some gold paint sprinkles, because…why not.

I’m absolutely crazy for this new to me floral stamp, Grateful for You. Isn’t it gorgeous!?!?! Using my Misti stamping tool, I stamped the floral on heavy weight vellum paper with Clear Embossing Glue. Running my Perfect First Smooshing Tool over it to make sure I got a good impression.

Using a piece of copy paper, I generously poured Moscow Mule Embossing Powder over the stamped image. Love this powder. It’s like half glitter, half embossing powder. Once it was heat set, you could really see the sparkle.

Vellum can be a little tricky to work with. Since it’s transparent, you need to be careful where you apply your glue so it won’t be seen. I used Maker’s Magic Crystal Clear glue in a very fine line all around the edge and then added more around the center and on thicker parts of the leaves and flowers. I set a heavy stamp pad on top while it dried and set it aside.
I stamped Happy Birthday with Clear Embossing glue on a piece of Eclipse Black cardstock. Using my Rose Gold Dual Tip powder Brush, I lightly dusted Sun Spot Kaleidoscope Powder over the stamped sentiment.

Thank you for following along.
Until next time – Jackieā¤
