In my little part of kent it is hot hot hot and I am loving it, so it seemed only right that I used the fabulous Good Vibes stamps set, with so many stamps that make you think of lazy summer days. I always feel better when the sun is out, it always gives me a summer smile, how about you?
Start by stamping the circle in nice yellow ink and allow it to dry before stamping the palm tress over the top with black ink. I have used card with a slightly uneven surface which allows the ink to miss areas when stamping, this can lead to a fun uneven look on the finished card.
Use some low tack or washi tape to section off even strips of card along the top and bottom of the card. Stamp two of the leaves from the stamp set with bright bold summer colours. Make sure to turn and twist the stamps to change the direction of the image. Remove the tape carefully and finished off with a sentiment and some doodled lines with a black pen.
