You’re humming that song in your head now aren’t you? Don’t lie. I’ll admit…. I’m singingšŸ˜‚

I know that it’s just October, but the holidays can get so busy and hectic. I need to start making my Christmas cards early or I don’t get them done and mailed in time.

Today I’ve got a trio of cards that I made using the same stencil and sentiments from the same stamp set.

For this first one, I used a red card base cut down to 4Ā¼ x 5Ā½ I chose one snowflake from Snowflake Trio stencil and centered it the panel. With a very light hand, I blended Eclipse Black ink over the image using Picket Fence Blending brushes. Leaving the stencil in place, I cleaned off the black ink. Using a separate brush, I blended Clear Embossing Glue over the center of the snowflake. Next using Rose Gold Dual Tip Powder Brush, I dusted the area with Asteroid Kaleidoscope Powder. Embossing ink is slightly sticky. That’s what the powder powder sticks to. I stamped one of the sentiments from Holly Berries on Eclipse Black cardstock and again used the same technique as the snowflake center. I fussy cut it out and popped it with dimension tape.

Again using the same stencil, I made this green panel. This time, I’m using Palm Tree ink for a tone on tone card. I moved and blended the stencil around until the whole panel was filled. Blending heavier on the dendrites. Do you know what that is? That’s a new word I learned this weekend. Dendrites are the arms of the snowflake.

I cut a circle out and centered the sentiment. Again, popping it with dimensional form.

Now for this last card, I just positioned the stencil at an angle over the card base. I first lightly blended over the snowflakes with Vegas Strip ink. Then on the dendrites, I added a touch of Eclipse Black ink. I added snow sprinkles by mixing a bit of water with Astreoid Kaleidoscope powder. Mixing it with a brush and splashing it over the panel.

Until next time – Jackieā¤
