Hello crafty friends,

I made a card for the times you need to show encouragement. Sometimes simple gets the sentiment across quicker. I picked a relaxing scene and made it the focal image of the card. I used the Maker Forte circle mountain scene to set the mood.

The start of the card making process was to color the scene using copic markers. Once it was colored I needed to pick colors for the card base and layer one. This is a standard A-2 card. The circle image fits perfectly on it!

Blue seemed to be the perfect color for the card base. After trying many combinations I settled on pink. I felt the pink needed something to make it pop. I decided to stamp a subtle pattern onto the pink layer using a matching pink ink. For this I used the Maker Forte background stamp ‘Spiral Background’.

The final step was to assemble the pieces. The circle image was popped up to add dimension. The sentiment was also popped. A couple of sequins added the final pop. This card is now ready to go!
