Hi there,
It’s Kaja from Kajcyika crafts and today I have prepared last minute clean and simple Christmas card. These days post offices are packed with letters and packages, so if you want to send out some handmade cards this year you will want to do that soon. That’s the reason why I decided to show you how to make a last minute Christmas card that is easy to reproduce.
Take a look:

I started making this card by deciding which stencil to use. I knew I wanted to do something simple, but still make it interesting, so I went with Rudolph’s ride stencil.
First, I positioned it towards the top of a white piece of paper and started ink blending with light brown color. I decided to use this color since it’s neutral and can’t be used for any occasion.

To get some more dimention, I used another color of brown ink which gave the stenciled card some more depth. I then added some finishing touches using the white gel pen on all the stenciled images. This simple trick makes the image even more interesting and I must admit that I use it all the time.
Then, I stamped out the sentiment which reads ‘Happiest of holidays’ and can be found in Bold holiday sentements stamp set. This sentiments have a wonderful clean look and can be used on many styles of cards.

I felt like something is missing to this clean and simple card, so I added the last detail which is the distressed edges. When making a card so simple, it’s important to add some details like this, since it really helps bring the card to life.
This finishes of this last minute Christmas card that can be recreated in any color combination! I would love to know if you manage to send out all your Christmas cards already. Let me know in the comments. I must admit that I haven’t send them out yet, but I plan to do it soon.
Hugs,
Kaja
