Don’t you just love when a card comes together fast and easy? Jackie here with these 2 cards that definitely fit that bill.

I really wanted to make the focal point of these cards the colored images from the Hipster Valentine stamp set, but I also wanted to add some color to the background. The best way I could think of to do this was with some ink smooshing and some light stamping.

I stamped my inkpad on a piece of scrap acetate and spritzed it with water. Then I placed it over the top of watercolor paper and smooshed it around until I got the desired effect. Color Hive inks are water reactive and work like watercolor, yet are safe to use with alcohol markers. I set these panels aside to dry and started to work on my stamped images.

These little hipsters from Hipster Valentine stamp set are just so darn cute. After stamping them with Eclipse Blank Ink, I colored them with Copic alcohol markers ( colors listed below).

I glued the watercolor panel to the Perfect Cut A2 Top Fold Card Base. I then glued the fussy cut sentiment from All Seasons Sentiment Version 2 and my colored images to the vellum. So that the glue didn’t show through, I just added a bead of glue to the image and sentiment.

And just like that, I had two adorable cards. Quick and easy

Until next time friends – ❤ Jackie
