Hi friends! Kim from Stamping Imperfection here today with a video and 3 slimline cards to share using the Live Life In Full Bloom stamp set.

If you are like me, as soon as you saw this stamp set it went on your wish list! Did you also look at it and think that it would make great slimline cards?

I definitely did! It’s also going to make a great title stamp for a scrapbook layout!

I absolutely had to do at least one card coloring these flowers! These were quick to color and I die cut them out with my Brother Scan-N-Cut machine.

A quick ink blended background using Dusty Concord Distress Oxide ink allowed me to pop these up on lots of foam and add a sentiment from one of my favorite Maker Forte products, the All Season Sentiments paper set.

A few Crown Jewel Gems finished off the card and gave it some sparkle in the process!

The Night Garden stencil is a perfect tool to create a quick and subtle background for this stunning sentiment stamp. Isn’t this large script bloom just stunning? I have heat embossed it in black over the soft Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink.

My card bases are cut at 7 x 8-1/2″. I trimmed this card down after I completed the stenciling so that the stencil covered the entire background. I just love the hint of a floral garden you get with this background.

Three Crown Jewel Gems in Vegas Strip finished it off. By now you know I like my bling on a card!

My final card for the day uses the Slimline Oval Spotlight stencil to create my focal image and background. I ink blended some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide through the oval of the stencil and then left the stencil in place while I stamped the image in the Color Hive Eclipse Black ink.

I added a sentiment from the Live Life in Full Bloom stamp set. I think this would be an amazing sentiment for a graduation card!

This technique allows you to add some color to your image without coloring each bloom individually.

Keep this technique in mind because it would also be easy to mass produce a card made with the spotlight stencil, some quick ink blending and then simply stamping your image and sentiment.
