Hello! It’s Kari here today with a cute Valentine project: Lots of Hearts Card set. This heart stamp set is so versatile to use on Valentine’s cards. Today I have four to share with you. For all of them, I used a foiled sentiment with the new Maker Forte Valentines Simple Sayings.

Card 1
For this card, I stamped on white cardstock with Distress Oxide ink in Spun Sugar. This creates a nice, soft background. I chose a “Happy Valentine’s Day” sentiment from the Simple Sayings Set and foiled it with a hot pink foil. I adhered it to the panel with liquid adhesive.
I colored up the cute dinosaur with balloons using Copic Markers. Then I attached the dino with two layers of foam tape. How cute is that?

Card 2
For this card I stamped the hearts in the same Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink on BLACK cardstock. This creates a completely different look!
I used the same formula: foiling the sentiment, and coloring up some cute Valentine images.

Card 3
For this card, I wanted a deeper pink color of the hearts on black, so I tried Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide to stamp the hearts. I chose the cute dinosaur holding a valentine heart and added it to the card.

Card 4
For this card, I used three colors of Catherine Pooler inks to stamp the hearts onto a white cardstock. First I inked up the top portion of the hearts with a Coral color, softening the line of ink with a microfiber cloth. I stamped that color down.
I inked the center portion of the hearts with a hot pink color ink and stamped that down. Then the last portion I used a purple ink. Make sure you soften the line of ink with a cloth before you stamp so you get a nice gradient look.

I foiled the “sending Hugs” with a pink foil and added that cute octopus.
So there you have it, four cards using the same formula and getting different results. I hope you try these sets, they sure are fun to create with!

I’ll be back soon with more to share!
