I’m having one of those days! I hope you are having an amazing Friday! I’m finally able to share my card with you today! Let’s just say that the Second Law of Thermodynamics has taken hold of our household today. Entropy, better known as disorder or even chaos, has ensued!

I played with some ink smooshing and drop making today. I used the Icy Mist, Blue Moon, and Tartan Teal inks to create a messy background. I added some black splatter and some white splatter with the new Snow Flurries ink. I LOVE having a reinker full of that fabulous white ink to add to my projects.

I pulled out the new Stacked Rectangle A2 dies to create some frames out of some scrap gold metallic cardstock I had in my folder. I love being able to add some metallic detail to a project. I always feel like that takes it up a level.

I bought this Bless This Nest stamp set last spring and finally got to play with it. I was going for a fall feel for these flowers with a touch of red-orange and a tiny bit of yellow for brightness.
I created my frames by using two of the rectangle dies at once. I carefully placed them so they were evenly spaced all around on the paper. I also taped them down so they wouldn’t move. I created two different sizes so that I could layer them at wonky angles. I always like this look.
I used a ink smooshed and splatter background after watching the backgrounds Alex made over the weekend at the Crafter Party event. It was inspiring to watch other people create beautiful backgrounds. I just had to make a few myself!
