♪♪ When you wish upon a star…..♪♪♪ Now you’ve got that song stuck in your head don’t you?
When I first saw this new stamp set Happy Birthday, Princess, all I could think about was Cinderella, the castle, the carriage, the beautiful ball gown. Ever little girls dream.
To start off, I stamped the one of the princesses form the Pretty Princess stamp set onto my slim line card panel front. I then stamped it again on a Post-It note and cut it out.

I placed the mask over the princess and stamped the castle. I then stamped the carriage of the left side of the panel.

Sometimes I struggle with color selection. The best way to get help is to literally Google it. I looked up Cinderella’s carriage and the castle. I then colored my images as closely to the web search as possible.

I’m sorry friends, but I didn’t keep track of all the Copic markers that I used. But I can tell you…there’s a lot. These are only the ones I used for the carriage. Once the stamped images were colored, I finished off the scene by coloring the grass and lightly ink blended the sky.

I plan on giving this super cute card to my great niece for her upcoming birthday. I chose the sentiments from the Boxed Sentiment set and stamped it with Eclipse Black ink. To finish off the sentiment, I also stamped ” May All Your Dreams Come True” banner in black, cut it out, and added it under Birthday.

I’m still trying to use up as much old pattern paper as possible. I die cut a scalloped border from a pretty pink paper. It really brought the card together
